About First Freedom Bank

History

First Freedom Bank was the dream of seventeen organizers who thought it was time true community banking returned to Wilson County. Local banking professionals and community leaders dreamed of a bank that would make Wilson County a better place to live for many decades to come.

That dream became a reality when First Freedom Bank opened its main office in Lebanon in April 2006. First Freedom is a true community bank: of its more than one thousand initial investors, more than 98% were from Wilson and surrounding counties. The bank's original stock offering of $20 million was raised in less than three weeks.
