History
First Freedom Bank was the dream of seventeen organizers who thought it was time true community banking returned to Wilson County. Local banking professionals and community leaders dreamed of a bank that would make Wilson County a better place to live for many decades to come.That dream became a reality when First Freedom Bank opened its main office in Lebanon in April 2006. First Freedom is a true community bank: of its more than one thousand initial investors, more than 98% were from Wilson and surrounding counties. The bank's original stock offering of $20 million was raised in less than three weeks.
